As a key player in the Health and Beauty business in Hong Kong and China, Mannings relied heavily on WeChat mini-programs (WMP) to bring e-commerce capabilities to users in China.
Researched showed that Chinese customers struggled with the existing mini-program's complex navigation and inconsistent user interface. The e-commerce experience wasn't optimised for WeChat's unique environment, leading to abandoned purchases and reduced engagement.
This project was to redesign their WeChat mini-program and provide a better user experience with a clear and intuitive user interface.
